This month I was challenged with writing and posting blogs for the whole month of January. Thinking of ideas for blogs can be the most challenging part of this for most people, but for me, it is actually writing them.
I have a lot of incredible ideas, but composing them into text has always been extremely challenging for me. I have heard from my fellow participants that my posts are easy to read and understand, which is a huge accomplishment for me. Through the last three months, I've seen my writing skills vastly improve. I can not wait to see them continue to develop.
I also have a tremendous add-on to this challenge...
I'll be in Seattle, Washington for nine days.
To help me stay organized, and prepared for this month, I decided to compost a post about my ideas/plans to see what people think about them. Most of these are ideas with multiple blog posts that could be involved.
I am keeping these post ideas rather vague, I will be going into more detail for the actual posts.
My Creative Process (series)
I have been told that my creative process is unique and different. I would love to write about my process, and how I accomplish what I do. It could cover a range of things like photography, writing, sketching/painting, graphic design, and videography (filming & editing.) This could be helpful to people wanting to learn more about the topics.
Ancient World (series)
I have always been fascinated with ancient culture. It would be amazing to take that fascination and dive into further research. Composing the blog posts would be informative, captivating, and fun. My first pick would definitely be Ancient Egypt, but I could easily research another culture and write about it to further the series.
First Timer's Guide To _______ (series)
Last year I learned a lot about things that were new to me, switching jobs, photography, moving, etc. It would be cool to compose somewhat of a "guide" to getting started with those things. Something that I found extremely challenging about switching full time jobs, was coordinating the timing of the end date with my former employer with the start date of my new employer.
The Mind of A Homeschooler
Some of my best qualities I have is largely thanks to the fact that I was homeschooled. I could explain how it helped me learn to be independent and adaptable, giving me an advantage in a challenging work environments.
Creative Content Review/Analysis (series)
I love looking at other people's creative work. It would be fun to breakdown some content. Whether it's books, movies, designs, websites, or even photographs from people I admire, this would be a great way to gain more experience dissecting peoples content. Doing this would also help me gain experience voicing my opinion publicly which, depending on my future path, could be very helpful.
Well, I feel like I have a plethora of options to choose from. Hopefully I can start solidifying some of these ideas down, and create somewhat of a content schedule for myself this month.
Let's find out how creative I actually am.
