Raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin I've learned the value of hard focused work. Through the years I've faced a number of challenges and have learned to work through them. Working with my family has taught me what it's like to work as a team as well as work independently. Even when my work environment isn't optimal I'm able to put out some of my best work.

After working at my family's farm I started working with a friend on a startup called Premier Grass Worx. As an office assistant there I had a range of responsibilities. My day-to-day was contacting clients, scheduling appointments, and developing new promotional material. I also helped my friend develop her startup called Amanda's Dog Walking. This is when I discovered my passion for business development. Amanda's Dog Walking and Premier Grass Worx both had retention rates over 100%.

United States Pony Club has been a staple in my life for many years.  In 2017
Northern Lakes Region was looking to do a fundraiser that doubled as an educational experience for the lower level members. I was the region's youth board President at the time so I volunteered the board to run it. I was given little guidance/reference material to work with and had never organized something of this magnitude before. As an active member I knew each board member's strong skills and used that to delegate the tasks to the people who I thought would handle it the best. I was handling material like pricing, location research, budgeting, paperwork, etc. The event went on and though we had some minor issues, they were resolved quickly and it was a major success. We met our budget and had very happy members/parents. The region later on determined the event would be annual because of our success.

After a few years I decided to focus more on school. I worked at my neighbors horse farm where I helped manage the herd through the week.
At 19 years old I determined I wanted more customer service experience I got a job at Kwik Trip. I wasn't looking for a night shift position but that's all they had available at the time. Working third shift taught me how to work independently but also how to prepare your team for success. As the second busiest store in our district, our stores busiest time is during the early morning. This means it was extremely important for us to prepare the store
as much as possible during the slower time.
Within the first 90 days of working at Kwik Trip my ability to learn fast was highlighted when I stepped into a shift lead position. Working at Kwik Trip also taught me how to lead a efficient productive team and is just one of the many skills I've learned during my time there.

I'm not sure what my next big goal will be, but whatever it is I want to be creating value. I truly enjoy being able to improve something and add value to it.
If my next step is with your business...
I will constantly be adding value and developing efficiency. No matter what field it is in I will be able to captivate a team and lead them to success. My creative mind will be able to find ways around any issue we run into. As someone who is passionate about being innovative I'm not afraid of change or finding a new strategy. When new employees come in I will train them how to be a valuable member of the team. Where ever your business takes me I am determined to be an incredible member of your team.
